"Our major agenda in this Parliament session is our commitment to fight corruption," Trinamool Congress Parliamentary Party leader Sudip Bandyopadhyay told reporters here.
Asked if the party would raise the Lalit Modi issue and the Vyapam scandal in Parliament, he said, "We are against all kinds of corruption."
A meeting of TMC MPs, both in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, was convened today by party supremo and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at the state secretariat to chalk out a strategy for the Monsoon session of Parliament.
Bandopadhaya also said that the party would oppose the land bill and demand it's scrapping. The party would also convene an all-party meeting on this issue.
"We are totally against the land acquisition bill. We are the only party in Parliament which had opposed this bill. We are of the opinion that this bill should be withdrawn and an all-party meeting be convened," Bandopadhaya said.
Bandopadhya also said that the party would fight for upholding the rights of the state in federal structure.
"Mamata Banerjee had taken up this issue with the central governments - both UPA and NDA. But no step was taken. So this will be our most primary issue in Parliament," Bandopadhaya said.
