"The TMC has engaged its entire machinery to stop people from exercising their democratic right. In many places TMC have captured booths. But people have resisted those terror tactics in most of the places and have voted. We are confident that after today's phase of polls, TMC will be ousted from Bengal," Chowdhury told PTI.
Asked about TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee's statement that TMC had already reached the majority mark at the end of the fourth phase of polls to be able to form the next government, Chowdhury said, "She is wrong. After the results are announced on May 19, TMC will cease to exist in Bengal. After four phases of poll, I can say that in spite four phases of polls, TMC has lost the polls".
