TN beat Chhattisgarh in inaugural match

Tamil Nadu defeated Chhattisgarh 24-15 in the inaugural match of the 37th Junior National Women's Handball Championship which began here today.
Teams from 28 states are participating in the six-day championship, being played on league-cum-knock-out, at the indoor stadium of Sri Krishna Institutions.
In a one-sided match, Sport Authority Of India defeated Madhya Pradesh 28-8, while Maharashtra thrashed Pondicherry 29-5.
In another match, Bihar beat Manipur 24-11.
