TN CM Jayalalithaa files nomination

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK general secretary Jayalalithaa filed her nomination this afternoon from R K Nagar constituency here for the May 16 Assembly election.
The 68-year-old Jayalalithaa is a sitting MLA of the constituency.

Jayalalithaa was accompanied by her confidante Sasikala as she arrived at the Tondiarpet Zonal Office here a little pastnoonto file her nomination papers with the authorities.
Clad in her favourite green saree, she was all smiles, and wavedto the people and party workers.
All other AIADMK candidates are expected to file their nomination papers soon.
