Toddler dies after falling into a 200-feet deep well

A two-year-old boy died after he allegedly fell into a 200-feet deep uncovered well in the courtyard of his house here while playing, police said.
The incident took place last night when Siddharth climbed on a chair to peek into the welljust as his mother went inside for some work, they said.
Fire and Rescue personnel retrieved the body of the child in the wee hours of today after a five hour-long operation. The depth of the well and the water level delayed the rescue mission, police said.
Investigation was on into the incident, they added.
