The power discom TPDDL has inducted over 50 eco-friendly vehicles to address complaints of electricity supply faults in congested parts of the city.
Forty-two such electric-powered scooters (e-scooters) have been inducted due to their easy manoeuvrability and less parking-space requirement, a spokesperson for Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd (TPDDL) said.
For the rural areas, eight dedicated e-rickshaws have been deployed to carry out the maintenance work.
Three compact CNG tower wagon that run on cleaner fuel have also been included in the maintenance fleet, he added.
