Train collides with truck, engine damaged

A train engine was damaged today after it collided with a truck at an unmanned railway crossing between Bagaha and Narkatiyaganj stations in West Champaran district here.
The train's engine was damaged but no injuries or casualties were reported, Railway Protection Force (RPF) Inspector Arun Kumar Jha said.
The mishap took place near Nuniapatti village in the morning when 12556 Down Saptkranti Superfast Express collided with a stationary truck, he said.
The train left for Muzaffarpur after the debris was removed from the track, Jha added.
