Trains on NMR section cancelled for three days
Due to heavy rain and landslip at different locations on the Nilgiris Mountain Rail section, train services on Mettupalayam-Udhagamandalam route have been cancelled for three days from October 18.
Trains No 56136 (Mettupalayam-Udhagamandalam) and 56137 (Udhagamandalam-Mettupalayam) have been cancelled from October 18-20, following landslip and trees falling on the track due to rains, a railway release said on Thursday.
Train No 11014 Coimbatore-Lokmaniya Tilak Terminus Kurla Express commencing on October 18 has been fully cancelled due to want of pairing rake.
