Transfers: Collectors of four districts shifted

: Tamil Nadu government tonight effected a series of transfers of IAS officials, shifting among others, Collectors of Chennai, Madurai, Tiruvallur and Tirupur.
Chennai Collector E Sundaravalli was transferred and posted as Collector of Tiruvallur, vice K Veera Raghava Rao, according to a release from Chief Secretary K Gnanadesikan.
G Govindaraj, Collector of Tirupur district was transferred and posted as Chennai Collector.
Further the services of Vikram Kapur, Commissioner, Corporation of Chennai were placed at the disposal of Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (CMWSSB) for appointment as its Managing Director vice B Chandra Mohan.
The services of Mohan were placed at the disposal of Corporation of Chennai for appointment as its Commissioner, Gnanadesikan said.

Further, Veera Raghava Rao was posted as Madurai district Collector.
The others who were transferred and posted elsewhere included Collectors of Krishnagiri and Karur, T P Rajesh and S Jayandhi respectively, he said.
