Transgenders in Tirupur send relief to flood-hit Kerala

A group of transgenders in neighbouring Tirupur today contributed its mite to the flood-affected people of Kerala by donating food and other materials.

The materials, worth Rs 30,000, were handed over to the district Social Welfare Officer Poongothai, official sources said.

The items included flour, edible oil, biscuits and sanitary napkins, they said.
