Tripathi greets people on I-Day eve

West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi today extended warm greetings to the people of the state on the eve of the 71st Independence Day and said countrymen should 'rededicate' themselves for constructing a vibrant and prosperous India.
Tripathi in his message said that the country will never forget the tremendous sacrifice of the freedom fighters in India to achieve Independence and this is the occasion "to pledge to defend the sovereignty of our land and national integrity."
"On this auspicious occasion we rededicate ourselves for constructing a vibrant and prosperous India," he added.
