Press Trust of India Lucknow Tronica City, an ambitious project of Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Corporation (UPSIDC) would be renamed as 'Trans Delhi Signature City'.
To ensure availability of industrial land at the earliest serious consideration should be given to purchase land directly from the farmers on the lines of Noida and Greater Noida, Chief Secretary Alok Ranjan said in an official release.
He was speaking during the 285th meeting of the board of directors of UPSIDC to promote industrialisation in the state.
Integrated industrial township Tronica City was conceived in 1990s to develop the industrially - backward area of Loni and to attract the untapped entrepreneurial skills of north-east side of Delhi.
Tronica is accessed from Delhi side through traffic free Khajuri Pushta road which starts just next to Wazirabad Bridge.
A new and prestigious Signature bridge would make the transportation even more decongested.
