Truck mows down two spotted deer in MP

Two spotted deer were killed after they were hit by a speeding truck on the Balaghat-Seoni Road near Karjai village, a forest official said today.
"The deer, aged about three to four years, were ran over by a truck last night after they came on the road from the forest", said Sub Divisional Officer (SDO)," Forest, R P Sayyam.
The incident took place under Lalbarra forest area, he said.
Forest officials and veterinary department doctors have reached the spot to conduct autopsy of the feline after which their last rites would be performed.
