Truck mows down woman, 9-month-old daughter

A nine-month-old girl and her mother were today killed when a truck hit the bike carrying them near Badpipli here.
Thw woman has been identified as Seema (26), police said, adding that Shaitan Singh (30), who was driving the two- wheeler, miraculously escaped.
They were returning to their home in Chomu tehsil.
The truck driver fled the spot after the accident and a case has been registered against him, police said.
