President Donald Trump today blasted a military judge's decision to give US soldier Bowe Bergdahl no prison time in his sentence for deserting his unit in Afghanistan.
"The decision on Sergeant Bergdahl is a complete and total disgrace to our Country and to our Military," Trump tweeted.
Bergdahl, who was held captive by Afghan insurgents for five years after leaving his unit in 2009, faced life in prison, and last year Trump had called for him to be executed, labelling Bergdahl a "traitor".
