TTD's IT initiatives hailed by TCS CEO

The management of the famous hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara temple at Tirumala, today came in for praise from IT major TCS for best utilisation of technology for the benefit of devotees and in the spread of devotional consciousness across the country and abroad.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) was using the technology in "an excellent way" in offering online worship services for the benefit of devotees all over the world and also in the propagation of Hindu dharma besides transparency in the administrative system, TCS CEO and Managing Director N Chandrasekharan said.
TCS, which is involved in the online services of the temple, considered it as a great privilege to be associated with TTD and its spiritual mission, he was quoted as having said by a TTD release.

Earlier, Chandrasekharan accompanied by wife Lalitha offered worship at the hill temple.
TTD Executive Officer D Sambasiva Rao honoured him by presenting a divine photo and sacred silk cloth.
