Tuki submits 10-point charter of demands to Parrikar

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki today submitted a 10-point memorandum to Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar during his visit here, an official release said here.
Establishment of liaison office of defence ministry in the state, relaxation in height norms for Arunachalee boys and girls in the Army recruitment, development of infrastructure in border areas for general public, establishment of Army hospitals and schools, 100 per cent funding for setting up of Sainik school, airfield at Anini and Koloriang and dual use of airfield are some of the demands included in the memorandum.
Parrikar assured the chief minister that he would extend all support regarding the demands, the release said.
The demands were raised by the chief minister during a meeting with Parrikar in which various state ministers and top officials were present.
