At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, turmeric for delivery in July moved down by Rs 130, or 1.79 per cent to Rs 7,120 per quintal with an open interest of 25,255 lots.
On similar lines, the spice for delivery in June contracts eased by Rs 56, or 0.79 per cent to Rs 7,050 per quintal in 1,110 lots.
Market analysts attributed the fall in turmeric futures to adequate stocks in the physical market against low demand.
