Siddharth is known for his role as Ashoka on TV show "Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat". He also played the younger version of Aamir Khan's character in "Dhoom 3".
"Siddharth was approached to play Sunny Deol's son in a film. It is a nice role and Siddharth is quite excited about this film. We are figuring out the dates for the film," sources said.
The film is about father-son relationship. The makers are busy scouting other actors in the film, according to sources.
The project will start rolling in one or two months time.
Siddharth was recently seen in dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa".
