A senior journalist of a local news channel has been booked for allegedly molesting a woman from Gwalior, police said today.
The woman was called here by the journalist on the pretext of making her the market distributor of the media firm. Her accommodation was arranged by him at a guest house at Sector-50, SHO Bijendra Singh Bhadana said.
According to the complaint filed by the victim, the media person promised her the distributorship if she could have physical relations with him and also demanded money from her, he said.
When the woman refused to entertain him, he started misbehaving with her, Bhadana said, adding that she then fled from the spot.
An FIR in this regard has been registered at Sector 49 police station, he added.
