TVS Emerald eyes to develop 2.50 million sq ft in 3yrs: Prez

Emerald Haven Realty Ltd, the real estate division of TVS Group, is eyeing to develop houses with a total area of 2.50 million square feet over the next three years, a top official said here today.
The Chennai-based realty player, which takes up projects under TVS Emerald brand, also said it has recently bagged the (CONQUAS) Construction Qualit Assessment System, architectural score, one of the assessment system developed by Building and Construction Authority, Singapore.
"Our Green Hills project in Tambaram achieved the Construction Quality Assessment System architectural score, a quality assessment system developed by BCA. As a young developer, we believe this achievement in an affirmation of TVS focus on quality and abilit to develop projects meeting customer aspirations..", Emerald Haven Realty Ltd., President and CEO, R Chandramouli told reporters.

The company has sold 448 apartments in Kolapakkam under the Green Hills project. The total project cost was about Rs 350 crore, he said.
Stating that the company would focus on taking up realty projects across the GST Road near Chennai, he said, "we are planning to develop 2.50 million square foot over the next three years".
"GST is a good location. It has got good infrastructure. Mostly we look at along the GST for newer projects", he said.
TVS Green Acres project comprises of 352 apartments and 40 villas at a total project cost of Rs 450 crore, he said. "It will comprise two BHK and three BHK apartments. Already 50 per cent of them have been sold. We are expecting it to hand over sometime in 2017", he said.
