Two bodies recovered from river bank

Two bodies bearing deep wounds were recovered today from the bank of Gandak river near Sanjat panchayatin Bihar's Begusarai district.
Bhagwanpur police station officer in-charge Gunjan Kumar saidthe police recovered the bodies of two males aged about 30-35 years following information by local people.
He said it appeared that the two men were hacked to death with a sharp weapon somewhere else by assailants who dumped their bodies on the river bank to mislead the police.
Efforts were on to find out the victims' identities, he added.
