Two brothers run over by a truck
brothers on Sono-Chakai road in Jamui district, a police officer said.
The incident took place near Patiya Bazar as a speeding truck knocked down the two brothers who were on a bicycle before crushing them under its wheels, Sono police station in-charge Ramudar Prasad said.
The victims were identified as Radhe Sah (20) and his younger brother Santosh Sah (18), he said.
The truck driver Krishna Kumar took shelter in a nearby CRPF camp with his vehicle before the security forces handed him over to the local police for further action, the police added.
