The programme is part of the Central Public Procurement Policy for MSEs to enhance market support to the products and services of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSE) in India, which made it mandatory for all Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs) and government departments to procure a minimum of 20 per cent of their stores and services from MSEs, R Ramachandran, President, CODISSIA, joint organisers, said in a release here today.
The event is being jointly organised by Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (CODISSIA) and Branch MSME Development Institute.
Of the total 120 stalls reserved, about 100 will be from Micro, Small, Medium and Large Enterprises and 15 stalls will display the products of Government departments like Railway, Defence Establishments, CPSUs like NLC, BEML and BEL.
