Two dead bodies found in Bhivandi, human sacrifice suspected

A suspected case of human sacrifice involving two victims came to light at Bhiwandi in the district today.
Thane police spokesperson Gajanan Kabdule said the two bodies were spotted near Amania Shah Takiya Kabrastan this morning.
The articles used in black magic rituals, such as lemons, pins, nails and black dolls, were found strewn around them.
Police identified one of the deceased as Minrul Ilai Sheikh (45), resident of Maharashtra Nagar in Mankhurd area of Mumbai, from a bag found near the body.
Identity of the other person was yet to be established.
DCP (crime) Parag Manere visited the crime spot.

Bhoiwada police have registered offence of murder under the IPC, and relevant offences under the Black Magic Prevention Act against unknown culprits.
