Two persons were killed, including a woman who had gone out to answer nature's call, when they were hit by moving trains in separate incidents here, police said.
In the first incident, a 50-year-old woman died after she was mowed down by a moving train near Tokadiya railway station here.
"Indira Devi Koli, a resident of Jugdamba colony, had gone to answer nature's call near the railway track. She was run over by the moving train while crossing the tracks," said Prakesh Chand, a GRP personnel at Kota railway police station.
The body was handed over to her family after post-mortem, he said.
In another incident, a 30-year-old man died after he was hit by a moving train near Dakaniya railway station.
"Sunil (30), a resident of Nagpal colony, died after he, along with two of his family members and a neighbour, was hit by a moving train while crossing the railway track," said Suresh Kumar, SHO, Udhyognagar police station.
Sunil was killed on the spot while Shubham Bhardwaj (26) and Roshani (30) sustained injuries, he said.
"The injured were taken to a hospital for treatment," he said.
He said the body was handed over to the family members without conducting post-mortem as they did not agree to it.
