Two die after falling in sewer

Two persons, including a woman, today died after falling into a sewer tank at Nayagaon village in Bassi sub-urban town here, police said.
The deceased, both relatives, were identified as Asharfi (45) and Jagankumar (35), they said.
The incident occurred when the woman stepped on a weak slab covering the sewer opening, which got cracked with her weight instantly, the police said.
The man, who was trying to save her, also fell in the same sewer, they said.
The bodies were later recovered and sent for post-mortem, they added.
