Two drug peddlers arrested in Moga

Two alleged drug peddlers were arrested after 900 intoxicant tablets and a country-made pistol was seized from their possession here today, police said.
On a tip off, the police intercepted the two riding on a motorcycle at a check point. On search, 900 banned tablets and the pistol were recovered from them, they said.
Police claimed that during interrogation the duo also confessed that the motorcycle they were riding was stolen.
The accused have been arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and Arms act, they added.
