Two drug peddlers held in J-K's Shopian
Press Trust of India Srinagar Two alleged drug peddlers were today arrested and four kg poppy straw was recovered from their possession in south Kashmir's Shopian district, police said.
"A police party laid a naka at Zainapora crossing. During checking, motorcycle-borne Riyaz Ahmad Makrooand Aurangzeb Bhat were intercepted.
"On search, four kg of poppy straw was recovered from their possession," a police spokesman said here.
A case under NDPS Act was registered against the duo and investigation taken up, the official said.
