Two persons were electrocuted to death and as many others received burn injuries at an agriculture field in Rajasthan's Alwar district, police said today.
"Man Singh (45) was electrocuted yesterday as he touched a live wire while switching off a pump used to irrigate the fields," SHO of Tatarpur police station Madan Lal said.
"Lala Ram (35) rushed to his rescue but he too got electrocuted and both died on the spot," he said.
Omprakash and Banwari received mild burn injuries while trying to rescue the duo and were admitted to a local hospital, the SHO said.
"Bodies Singh and Ram were handed over to their family members after post-mortem," Lal added.
