Two people, including a minor, sustained burn injuries after they were electrocuted as their kite got entangled in a high tension wire in northeast Delhi's Sonia Vihar area, the police said today.
The incident took place yesterday afternoon when the boys, aged 10 and 18, were flying a kite at the terrace of their residence and it got stuck in a high tension wire, a police officer said.
The duo suffered an electric shock and the 18-year-old fell from the terrace, he said.
Both were rushed to Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital where they are currently undergoing treatment, Deputy Commissioner of Police (northeast) Atul Kumar Thakur said.
