Additional Sessions Judge SK Choube yesterday convicted Mahesh Morskole and Suresh Invati for the murder of a tribal, Mehtar Uike (40), at Sakata village in the district in July, 2015 and sentenced them to life imprisonment.
According to Additional Public Prosecutor Chandra Shekhar Thakur, previous enmity had led to the murder.
Police had arrested Marskole, Invati and a minor in connection with the case. According to them, the trio had hacked Uike to death with an axe and buried his body.
The minor accused in the case is being tried by the Juvenile Justice court.
