The accused were identified as Sengodan Devendra (21) and Arun Devendra alias Arvind (18), senior inspector of Wadala TT police station Suhas Garud said.
"The duo thrashed victim Sukhdev Gill after tying him with a pole on the night of November 30," police said adding that he is a critical condition.
The victim was taken to Sion hospital, where he was admitted in ICU, said Garud.
Meanwhile, a woman had filed a report about her missing son in RCF police station, said police.
During the investigation, police stumbled upon information that the Devendras had beaten Sukhdev.
When police approached the duo for inquiry, they started running, but were caught by police.
During the interrogation the accused admitted their crime.
They have been charged under relevant sections of the IPC and further investigation is on.
