Two held for thrashing an associate to death

Two persons were arrested today for allegedly killing a man, crushing his head and stripping his body in northwest Delhi's Jahangirpuri area, police said.
The accused have been identified as Sandeep and Vinod, police said adding, the duo confessed that the deceased, Pawan, was their associate.
They murdered him and dumped the body in an open ground in Burari area. They then took off clothes on Pawan's body and crushed his head so that he could not be identified, DCP (Northwest) North West said.
The incident took place on the intervening night of March 8-9, he added.
The duo were allegedly involved in several other cases reported from areas near the Azadpur flyover, the DCP said adding, stolen phones and jewellery have been seized from them.
