The firearms and ammunition was seized from Harikishan Koli, a resident of Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh, and Umesh Gusai, a local, on a tip off, a senior official said.
Koli used to purchase the firearms from his Aligarh-based associate Yogesh Sharma for Rs 1000 apiece and sell them to Gusai for Rs 1800, Superintendent of Police Aditya Pratap Singh said, adding that local criminals would then procure the guns from Gusai.
The police have informed their Aligarh counterpart about the arrest of the duo.
