The incident happened yesterday when Arun Kumar(40) was travelling with his brother-in-law Ajit Kumar(39) on a bicycle, they said.
A truck coming from Budheda village hit the bicycle following which Arun and Ajit died on the spot, they added.
After the incident, the truck driver fled from the scene, police said.
A case has been registered, they said, adding that a search is on to nab the absconding truck driver.
