Two morning walkers, including an elderly woman, were killed while another was injured when a speeding car hit them in the city area here today, police said.
The car driver fled from the spot after the accident, they said.
Shiv Devi (70), resident of Kanaujia colony, her husband Chhail Bihari and another person Shyam Lal of Anandnagar Pipariya locality were on their routine morning walk when the car hit the trio, they said.
They were rushed to a hospital where Shyam Lal and Shiv Devi and died during treatment while Bihari was stated to be out of danger, police officials said.
