The fire broke out in a footwear showroom in Prajapati colony late last night, they said.
Since Rajpal's house was under repair and adjacent to the showroom, the old building collapsed due to the fire last night claiming lives of the owner's 85-year-old father Chatar Singh and 50-year-old sister Rajo.
Rajpal's two children also sustained serious burn injuries in the fire which broke out at 2 am last night.
Local Congress MLA, Lalit Nagar, visited the spot today morning and condoled the incident. He has demanded a compensation of Rs 10 lakh for dependents of the deceased along with a loss recovery amount of Rs 20 lakh from the district administration and the government.
