Two killed in bike-truck collision

Two people were killed and another injured when their motorcycle collided head-on with a truck on the Lucknow-Varanasi national highway here today, police said.
The deceased, identified as Gita Devi (35) and Vanshi (18), were killed in the mishap that took place near Dhaniyamau bridge this afternoon, they said.
The injured has been admitted to the district hospital where his condition was stated to be stable, police added.
