The incident occurred last night when the earth moving machine hit the wall of basement that was recently constructed at the under-construction building and the debris fell on two workers who sustained injuries.
"The two injured were shifted to a hospital where one of them died last night while another worker succumbed to his injuries in the early hours of today," said Raidurgam police station inspector D Durga Prasad.
The deceased are identified as Zia-ul-Ansari (25) and Dilip Kumar (37). A case has been registered.
