Zakir Khan, a resident of Khandawali village in Ballabgarh and his associate, Fateh Mohammad employed in cattle trading were allegedly robbed yesterday of Rs 85,300 while they were on their way from village Sagarpur towards village Sunped for a business deal, police said.
The victims were attacked with a knife by two unidentified men while they were riding a bike, they said.
A complaint has been registered at the Ballabgarh Sadar police station under IPC sections 392 (robbery) and 394 (voluntarily causing hurt in committing robbery) and provisions of section 25, 54 and 59 of Arms Act have also been invoked in connection to the case, police said, adding that investigations are on to nab the culprits.
