Two Nepalese men held with 3 kg charas in Kullu

Two Nepalese men were arrested with over 3 kg of charas at Sumaropa in Himachal Pradesh's Kullu district Thursday, police said.

The accused were identified as Tejinder Bahadur and Lal Bahadur. As much as 3.26 kg charas was recovered from their possession during searches at Sumaropa checkpoint, Kullu Superintendent of Police Shalini Agnihotri said.

A case was registered against the accused under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at Kullu police station, she said.

Both of them were arrested and further investigation into the matter is on, the SP said.
