A team of GRPF and IRBn personnel arrested Nabur Ali and Man Bahadur Sonar during routine checking on their arrival at the station by Naharlagun-Guwahati Inter-City Express, district tourism officer T K Kopak said.
Both the persons were travelling without ticket and ILPs, he said.
While Ali hails from Borpeta in Assam, Sonar is from Gohpur in Assam's Sonitpur district.
They were handed over to Nahralagun police station for further investigation, Kopak added.
