Two persons die on rail tracks

A 36-year-old man allegedly snuffed out his life by jumping before a speeding train while another was found dead on a rail track here, police said today.
Vikas Chopra allegedly committed suicide last night by jumping before the Malwa Express near village Chak Hakeem on Phagwara-Jalandhar section, they said.
The reason that led to the man taking the extreme step was not immediately known, police said adding he was a resident of S B S Nagar (Nawanshahr) district.
In another incident, a 30-year-old migrant worker was run over by a train near Satnampura crossing here, police said.
Ram Krishan, who died instantly, hailed from Madhya Pradesh, police said.
