The youth committed suicide by jumping in front of a Delhi-bound train here yesterday, they said.
"The deceased could not be identified. His body has been kept in Civil Hospital mortuary," a police spokesperson said.
In another incident, a 40-year-old factory employee Moti Lal was hit by a vehicle near bus stand opposite National Highway 1, police said.
"He was rushed to local civil hospital where doctors declared him dead," the spokesperson said.
A case has been registered against the unknown driver and investigation in the case is on, police said.
