Two security personnel injured in encounter in J-K

Two security personnel were injured in an encounter with militants in the Pulwama district of south Kashmir early today, police said.
The encounter took place at Tral during a counter-insurgency operation launched by the security forces following information about the presence of militants in the area, they said.
A CRPF jawan and a J-K policeman sustained injuries in the exchange of fire in which a militant is also believed to have been killed, police said.
Intermittent exchange of firing was going on till the last reports came in, they added.
