Two vehicle lifters gang nabbed in Ghaziabad

Two members of a gang of vehicle lifters were today arrested and two luxury cars were recovered from their possession, police said today.
During routine checking of vehicles in the wee hours today, police signalled a car, in which the duo was travelling, to stop, SHO Haridayal Singh Yadav said.
Upon interrogation, the two confessed to having stolen the car from Sunlight colony of Delhi.
Another car was seized from their home which the duo had stolen from Eros Hotel in Nehru Place, Yadav said.
Upon frisking, police also recovered one .315 bore country made pistol and two live cartridges from their possession.

The two, identified as Aashish and Amit, have been sent to jail, he said.
