A 48-year-old woman, Tija Devi, and her one-year-old grand daughter, Kitu, were killed on the spot after the motorcycle on which they were travelling was hit by a truck on Jaipur-Chomu highway, police said.
The rider of the bike was injured in the incident and the bodies of the woman and the infant were sent for post mortem, police added.
Meanwhile, a woman today was run over by a truck in Sanganer area here, the police said adding that her husband was injured when a truck hit their bike.
