U C Maheshwari sworn-in as new deputy Lokayukta of MP

U C Maheshwari was today sworn-in as deputy Lokayukta of Madhya Pradesh, a day after he resigned as a judge of the state High Court.
State Lokayukta Justice P P Naolekar administered the oath of office to 60-year-old Maheshwari in a ceremony here.
The post of the deputy Lokayukta had been lying vacant for the past two years following retirement of Chandresh Bhushan, a former MP High Court judge.
