Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly Ajay Bhatt has charged the state government with "failing" to curb the menace of corruption rampant in the state and said that his party leaders will take up the matter in the House.
"Corruption is at its peak in the state. The Government promises one thing, but does the opposite. On one hand, the state government is showing people new dreams of development while on the other, land mafia, mining mafia and liquor mafia are flourishing under its support," Bhatt alleged.
The BJP leader accused the state government of not utilising Rs 800 crore it recieved from the Centre for the state's development due to which the funds are getting lapsed. The government has also not released a utility report so far, he added.
